Ashok D'Sa
Ashok D'Sa

Chairman

Our Chairman, Ashok D'Sa, is a seasoned industrials executive having worked at leading OEM manufacturers like Siemens, GE and Alfa Laval. He established Carmichael Capital as an investment vehicle for niche, engineering acquisitions.

Future Advanced Manufacture is Carmichael's first platform acquisition and the plan is to bolt on complementary acquisitions in the Advanced Manufacturing sector.

Ashok is responsible for the strategy, M&A and coaching of the Future leadership team.

Craig Peterson

CEO

From a strong engineering background, Craig joined FutureAM in 1999 and was appointed Project Manager in 2004 with responsibility for the International development of the Company's Aerodynamic Modelling expertise. His absolute passion for turning a spark of an idea into real technology saw him buy the Company in 2008, giving him the ability to turn FutureAM into a next generation engineering company. His passion for R&D, the challenge of precision engineering high end, exotic materials and his belief that designers and programmers should work hand in hand with engineers and project management has set FutureAM apart from other companies.

As CEO of FutureAM Craig is responsible for the strategic development of the business. He continues to expand the development and production of safety-critical and high-integrity parts through reinvestment and penetration of new markets.

Kevin Jennings
Kevin Jennings

Distribution Director

Kevin joined FutureAM in April 2017 as a Customer Account and Project Manager, bringing over 25 years of Manufacturing, Quality and Supply Chain experience.

He started his career in 1990 as an apprentice toolmaker working within different sectors and over the following years held several key positions including Lead Auditor, Quality Manager, Manufacturing Manager and Supply Chain Manager, predominantly working within or supporting the Oil & Gas industry. This has enabled Kevin to bring a wealth of experience working with all aspects of a global supply chain, both as a customer and a supplier.

Joe Dawson
Joe Dawson

Quality Manager

Rejoining Future in 2019 as Quality Manager, Joe brought a wealth of knowledge within Aerospace quality environments having previously supplied to Boeing, Rolls Royce, Safran, Thales and Airbus to name but a few within forging, casting and precision machining disciplines. Most recently achieving and maintaining Nadcap disciplines at merit status across four workstreams alongside maintaining the quality management system for one of the UK’s largest foundries.

Having previously worked within the Inspection/QA department of Future Advanced Manufacture, Joe has extensive customer/product knowledge accompanied by advanced metrology understanding.

Andy Molloy
Andy Molloy

Operations Manager

Joining Future in 2022, Andy brings capability and experience within the Operations function allowing Future to take its next steps on the growth path. He has worked in multiple manufacturing disciplines from FMCG to Aerospace transparencies, forges and CNC companies ranging in size from blue chip to SME.

Having gained a Master's degree in engineering in 2010, Andy brings not only further intellectual capability to our operations but also a wealth of lean manufacturing principles and techniques to enhance our operations. His consistent drive and passion to deliver for the customer through correctly governed metrics and man-management ensures success for both Future and its customers.

Dave Davies
Dave Davies

Supply Chain Manager

Dave Initially Joined the company in January 2013 as Supply Chain Manager, having spent the previous 7 years working within the European Space Industry in a purchasing and supplier management role, supporting the manufacture of major Satellite Components for both commercial and scientific programmes. He has predominantly worked in the Nuclear and Aerospace sectors throughout his career, and has extensive knowledge and experience of the stringent technical and Quality requirements that are mandatory within high integrity manufacturing environments.

Being a member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply and achieving MCIPS status in 2014 coupled with formal Mechanical Engineering qualifications, Dave has a successful track record of supplier development, supplier relationship management and collaborative supplier initiatives, also supporting major projects on manufacture to target cost activities, achieving mutual efficiencies and benefits.

Catherine Beasley
Catherine Beasley

PA to Craig Peterson

Catherine was trained by the Dowty Group, initially working for the Supplies Manager at Dowty Hydraulic Units and then subsequently working for the Group Chief Accountant and Finance Director. Following several senior administrative roles, including five years as Secretary to the Managing Director of the UK arm of an international biotechnology company, Catherine joined FutureAM in 2006 to assist the Production Director and Project Managers.

In 2008 Catherine became Craig's PA and as such her prime role is to support him closely on a daily basis and to make his life easier, but she also supports the senior management team with detailed organisational matters.

Mark Tovey
Mark Tovey

Head of Design

Mark joined FutureAM in August 2008 as Designer, with over 20 years experience of the design of Aerospace Tooling and Test Equipment at GE (Dowty) Propellers, during which time he gained detailed knowledge of Blades and Resin-transfer Moulding. In mid-2010, Mark was appointed Chief Designer and is now responsible for the management of a team of three designers working within Aerospace, Medical and Aerodynamics Testing.

Areas of special expertise include the manufacture of Flight-released Components, Propellers and Resin Transfer Mould tooling.

Oliver Allen
Oliver Allen

R&D Operations Manager

Oliver joined Future in 2022 as the R&D Operations Manager. He started his Precision Engineering career as an Award-winning apprentice working in the medical instrumentation industry. With a passion for quality machining and leadership he went on to work in multiple Formula 1 subcontract companies, enabling him to gain huge amounts of experience and eventually to manage one of these organisations.

Oliver now brings his wealth of experience of the R&D Precision Engineering industry to enable Future to progress forward in this company's exciting time of growth.

Chris Leivers
Chris Leivers

Continuous Improvement Manager

Starting out as an apprentice, Chris has over the past 34 years gained experience in many aspects of subcontract machining companies. At first a Machinist, progressing to Workshop Manager, NPI Engineer and Quality Engineer - all for a local company - and taking time out to complete an HND in Mechanical Engineering in his early career.

Originally working in the Small component Aerospace sectors, Chris now has many years experience in the Oil & Gas and Nuclear sectors.

David Bent
David Bent

Customer Account/Project Manager

David re-joined Future in October 2021 as Customer Account/Project Manager, having left the company for a short while in 2020. He started his career as an apprentice in the Automotive supply chain and over the next 30 years gained further experience within the Aerospace, Oil & Gas and Nuclear industries. During this time he held the positions of Works Manager, Engineering Manager and Quality Manager with various SMEs in the Gloucestershire area.

With his broad spread of knowledge and experience, David can use this to support our customers’ requirements and all the members of the Future team.

Mark Branfield
Mark Branfield

Customer Account/Project Manager

Mark Joined Future AM in August 2022 as a Customer Account Manager/Project Manager, bringing over 38 years of manufacturing experience.

Following his apprenticeship in the 1980s Mark has gained experience in both OEM and subcontract machining companies. Starting out as a machinist in the Oil & Gas industry he quickly progressed gaining experience in various roles from shop floor supervision, Supply chain development, Production Planning, Production Manager and NPI Manager. These varied roles have given him a strong technical and commercial background in Oil & Gas, Nuclear and Aerospace sectors, enabling him to support our Customers’ requirements.
