 Quality is intrinsic to Future, it runs through every part of the business from our people to our processes and is promised in every product we deliver. As such, we’ve invested in the tools, training and expertise that have enabled us to gain two crucial accreditations, ISO9001 and AS9100, reassuring our customers in every industry of the quality we provide.

As such, our Quality Management System is certified under ISO9001, covering the manufacture and machining of high complexity components and assemblies for aerospace and general industry applications. This also includes project management and the design of assembly test rigs, mould tools, special purpose tooling and aerodynamic models.

“Our Quality Management System is the backbone of our business and the foundation for all other accreditations we’ve received,” explains Arash Hatefi. “The processes and procedures we use are certified under the specific and thorough criteria set by ISO9001, demonstrating clearly and consistently that everything Future produces meets all statutory and regulatory requirements for the satisfaction of our customers and their supply chain.

“In simple terms, we follow a mantra of ‘Plan-Do-Check-Act’ which helps us to easily monitor our actions, ensure everything we produce is traceable and continually improve our processes.”

Future has also worked hard to meet the specific quality standards demanded by its customers’ sectors. Working as a one-stop shop in the development of aircraft production parts for clients like SAFRAN, GE Dowty Propellers, TRIUMPH Actuation Systems and MT Aerospace to complex prototype assemblies for companies such as Airbus, ARA (Aircraft Research Association), Dassault Aviation and new customers including Rolls Royce, means that AS9100 certification is critical to the business.

“For our aerospace customers we provide a start to finish service from CATIA Model-based definition through to manufacture, final finishing and project integration,” says Craig Peterson.  “Therefore, it’s incredibly important to meet the sector’s own very specific requirements in every project whether it’s production or R&D. In meeting AS9100, we’re able to prove our quality control and traceability from material through to manufacture, training and expertise of our engineers.

“Maintaining AS9100 is very challenging as we need to have rigid quality assurance policies in place while our processes must be flexible enough to deal with the constant design changes that are necessary in prototyping and testing. However, it’s a huge benefit to our reputation and has been instrumental in Future signing up more aerospace contracts in the past 18 months than in the history of the business.”
