To keep you informed concerning ongoing improvements:
• We are pleased to announce that our Quality Management System is certified to AS9100 Revision B, following assessment through LRQA during the latter part of 2009.
The scope of our approval is 'Manufacture and machining to customer specification of high complexity components and assemblies for aerospace applications'.
• Our Quality Management System certification is renewed to ISO 9001:2008.
The scope of our approval is ‘Manufacture and machining to customer specification of high complexity components and assemblies for aerospace and general industry applications. Project management and design of assembly test rigs, mould tools, special purpose tooling and aerodynamic models’.
• This Summer Future AM will be assessed to ISO 13485:2009 Design and Manufacture of Medical Devices.
• An ongoing Programme of Lean Manufacturing ('5S') was implemented between August 2004 and January 2005 with West of England Aerospace Forum.
